Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-09-12

ProofAlarm is an alarm app. It is built so that the least possible amount of information about you ever leaves your phone. This policy explains exactly what is collected, what is not, and who else is involved.

No account, no sign-in

ProofAlarm has no accounts and no login. You are never asked for an email address, a phone number, a name, or a password, and there is no way to create a profile. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of those things.

Your photos never leave your phone

The object hunt challenge asks you to photograph an object using your camera. That image is handled entirely on your device:

Camera access is requested only when you start a challenge that needs it, and is used for nothing else.

Your alarms stay on your phone

Your alarms, the challenge you picked for each one, your settings, and your wake-up history are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to us. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.

What is collected

Two Google Firebase services are the only things that collect data from the app:

Neither is linked to your identity, because the app has no identity for you. ProofAlarm does not use any advertising SDK, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not request the App Tracking Transparency permission.

Subscriptions and payment

ProofAlarm is sold as a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google through your existing store account. We never see, receive, or store your card details, billing address, or any other payment information.

We use RevenueCat to check whether a subscription is currently active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated for your installation, plus the purchase receipt issued by the store, and answers one question for the app: is this subscription valid? It does not receive your name, your email address, or your payment details.

What is never done

Children

ProofAlarm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing of a child's for us to hold.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected and no account exists, there is no personal record for us to look up, export, or delete on request. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. You can opt out of analytics collection in your device's own privacy settings. If you want to make a request or ask a question about this policy, write to us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
