Before you read on
ProofAlarm requires completing a short "wake-up mission" to turn off a real alarm. A free Preview Mode lets you try any mission with no subscription and no real alarm set. Setting a real alarm requires ProofAlarm Unlimited, an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
This page covers ProofAlarm's own product terms. The underlying software license for using this app is Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies automatically since we haven't submitted a replacement to Apple.
ProofAlarm is an alarm clock app that requires you to complete a short wake-up mission — a math problem, a photo challenge, a memory pattern, or typing a quote — to turn off an alarm. Tapping the alert's on-screen buttons routes you into that mission.
Using your device's hardware buttons to force-close the app or power off the device is a known platform limitation outside ProofAlarm's control, not something the app can prevent — see Section 4.
Scheduling a real alarm requires an active ProofAlarm Unlimited subscription. A free Preview Mode is always available with no subscription, letting you try any mission without setting a real alarm.

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or misuse the app, and not to use it in any way that violates applicable law.
ProofAlarm is a personal productivity tool, not a medical device or safety-critical system. We do not guarantee the app will wake you under every circumstance — a dead or powered-off device, a muted or hardware-limited volume setting, or a force-closed app can all prevent an alarm from being heard. Do not rely on ProofAlarm as your sole safeguard for any time-critical or safety-critical need.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including being late, missing an obligation, or any other consequence of an alarm not sounding, however caused.
The app, its design, and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
We may suspend or discontinue the app, or your access to it, at any time. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
