# Proof Alarm

> Proof Alarm is an iPhone alarm clock app where the alarm only stops when you complete a "mission", a short task that proves you're awake. Instead of tapping snooze or swiping to dismiss, you photograph an object, solve math, escape a maze, play a mini-game or shake your phone. Missions are checked on your device, and photos are never uploaded.

Proof Alarm is built for heavy sleepers, people who snooze through normal alarms, and anyone who wants a mission-based alarm. It is made by an independent developer.

- Privacy: no account, no login, no email collection. Alarms and settings stay on the device. Photo verification for Object Hunt runs on-device and the photo is never saved or sent anywhere.
- Rings through the system alarm, so it sounds on silent like the Clock app.
- Choose a different mission for each alarm.

## The nine missions
- Math: solve math problems on a keypad.
- Object Hunt: the app names an object and you photograph it with your camera. This is the only mission that uses the camera.
- Maze: swipe to slide the bell through a maze to the exit.
- Flappy Bell: fly the bell through the pipes.
- Aim Trainer: pop the bells before they vanish.
- Tiles: remember which tiles lit up and repeat the pattern.
- Shake Phone: shake the phone 30 times.
- Match Pairs: turn over two cards at a time and find every matching pair.
- Type a Quote: type out a quote word for word.

## How it differs from the built-in Clock app
The Clock app's alarm stops with one tap. Proof Alarm's stops only when the mission is done. There is a snooze button on the ring screen (five minutes) for emergencies, and the app never blocks calls or your phone's emergency features.
